EyeAdvance 2008
EyeAdvance 2008 is just around the corner, the most ‘happening’ event in Ophthalmology. As you
peruse through the EyeAdvance site you will see the large list of foreign faculty who have
confirmed their attendance in India.
To enhance delegate participation, the delegate fees have been purposely kept very low. As a
matter of fact, simply covering a single days expense for food. The location, the Twin World
Trade towers gives us 9 halls, centrally air-conditioned, more than adequate to run a great
congress.
The trade, you my friends, have been given the huge "Expo Center", located on the first floor of
the World Trade Centre Arcade, offering an air-conditioned area of 25,250 sq.ft. It is backed by
round-the-clock support services and is the ideal venue for both national and international
trade shows. Various support and technical services available are, a panel of contractors for
stall design and construction, store rooms, telephone, electricity, reception area, catering
facilities and freight elevator with a capacity of 1.5 tons.
To make sure of a good attendance at the Display units, we have kept the tea and the lunch just
adjacent to the stall area. As a matter of fact the delegate has to pass through the trade area to
enter the food zone and the reciprocal on exit . We are looking forward to having a huge faculty
of minimum 1500-2000 delegates.
I have enclosed the Trade and Sponsorship Brochure and you will notice, the sponsorship
packages of each of them are complete by themselves. Major sponsors get to set their stalls in an
island to enable you to design a beautiful composite stall and to give you the maximum effect.
Since the delegates fees have been kept very reasonable, it will enable you to sponsor a good
number of doctors. In addition staying in South Mumbai is comparatively economical with Hotel
available, ranging from Rs 1000 upwards, with ample accommodation and a huge host of taxis
available for any travel. For your resident doctors who you will sponsor, South Mumbai has very
nice economical hotels along the seafront. Naturally, we will be able to accommodate their
lectures but you have to give me the topics well in advance.
